The manufacturer punctuated their point with some great music in their new ad campaign. So, what are the songs used in the 2019 Acura RDX commercials? They are both from the Rolling Stones, a Motorhead cover of “Sympathy for the Devil” and “She’s a Rainbow.”

“We wanted to launch the all-new RDX with a campaign that, like the RDX itself, connects to Acura’s heart and soul – Precision Crafted Performance, while at the same time expressing the excitement that all of us at Acura share surrounding this vehicle arriving in market,” Jon Ikeda, vice president & general manager of Acura, said in a press release.

The first of the two new 2019 Acura RDX debuted during Game 3 of the 2018 NBA Finals on June 6. Acura almost certainly raised the heart rate of those watching the game with a rousing cover of the classic Rolling Stones song, “Sympathy for the Devil” performed by Motörhead. Potential customers, who are also audiophiles got a demonstration of the available Acura ELS Studio 3D™ system in the second commercial, titled “Rainbow.” This advertisement used the appropriately titled song, “She’s a Rainbow,” also performed by the Rolling Stones.

2019 RDX to take part in Pikes Peak race

Acura is no stranger to the grueling Race to the Clouds help at Pikes Peak National Park in Colorado. The automaker has participated in the even for the last six years. For the 2018 race, a specially-equipped version of the 2019 RDX will take on the 156-turn course that rises several thousand feet in just a little more than 12 miles. The main difference between the racing version and the model that is available in the Spitzer Acura showroom are the additions of a larger turbocharger and an electric supercharger. This will give the 2019 RDX used in the race a peak performance output of 350 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque.
