What comes with the A-Spec trim of the Acura MDX?

Acura has been slowly adding A-Spec trims to its model lineup over the last few years. The MDX is joining the A-Spec club for the 2019 model year. When the 2019 MDX A-Spec arrives at the Spitzer Acura showroom, it will feature new aggressive front fascia elements as well as body-color-matching lower sills and large-diameter exhaust tips. The 2019 Acura MDX A-Spec rides on 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels that are also a half-inch wider than standard. Those wheels are wrapped in low profile tires.

On the inside, the 2019 Acura MDX A-Spec offers sport seats for its passengers that are trimmed in red or black leather and offer black Alcantara™ inserts. Drivers will see A-Spec-exclusive gauges in the center cluster as well as sport-themed foot pedals. A-Spec versions of the 2019 MDX will also come with exclusive badging.

Performance Specs
The 2019 Acura MDX A-Spec uses the same naturally aspirated 3.5-liter, V-6 engine attached to a nine-speed automatic transmission, making 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Any Spitzer Acura customer choosing the A-Spec trim of the 2019 MDX will be able to easily handle slippery or wet roads thanks to the vehicle’s torque-vectoring Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive™ system. Most other trims offer either SH-AWD® or front-wheel-drive. The A-Spec model is exclusively equipped with SH-AWD®.
