Acura RDX vs Honda CR-V

2019 Acura RDX Vs. 2019 Honda CR-V

A comparison of the 2109 Acura RDX vs. 2019 Honda CR-V reveals a few very interesting elements. For the new model year, Acura has completed its most extensive and robust vehicle redesign in more than a decade. The 2019 Acura RDX has arrived at the Spitzer Acura showroom and it is more than ready to take on the rest of the competitive crossover SUV class, especially the 2019 CR-V, by offering more power, more cargo space and more advanced technology than its Honda rival. Spitzer Acura customers will have several different trim grades which include versions with front-wheel-drive as well as trims that feature the automaker’s Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive™ system. One of the most important ways that the 2019 Acura RDX is able to outshine the 2019 Honda CR-V is with its available connectivity options. Both crossover SUVs have infotainment systems that are compatible with the Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ suites of applications. However, the 2019 Acura RDX is able to take that connectivity to its next logical step. A high-speed Wi-Fi hotspot is embedded into all trims of the 2019 Acura RDX. Up to seven devices can be connected to the signal simultaneously. There is no known corresponding system available in the 2019 Honda CR-V at this time. Additionally, the interior of the 2019 Acura RDX offers a bit more space than its Honda rival. When all of the seats are properly configured, the 2019 RDX can offer up to 79.8 cubic-feet, edging out the CR-V.

Performance Specs

In terms of performance, the 2019 Acura RDX has much more to offer when compared to the new Honda CR-V. All trim grades of the new RDX available at Spitzer Acura use the same turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This will give owners plenty of performance to use with the new Acura crossover SUV making 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Most versions of the Honda CR-V are equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine making fewer than 185 horsepower. A turbocharged engine can be added to versions higher on the trim ladder of the 2019 CR-V, but it only offers a peak output of 190 horsepower
